Michael Fernandez // Program Director

Michael  is a passionate and fervent minister of the gospel.  Armed with humor, creativity, and a "point-blank" approach, he recruits and encourages youth and young adults to fervently live for God.  His extensive travel has taken him to various youth camps, conferences, leadership forums and churches all over the nation and beyond with great success.  He is viewed by many as a Youth / Young Adult Culture Expert because of his 18 years of successful mentorship initiatives.  Michael has served as the District Youth Director of the Gulf Latin Spanish District of the Assemblies of God, where he oversaw the youth ministries of 415 churches in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.

He enthusiastically serves as the Young Adult Pastor at Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, TX, under the leadership of Pastor John and Pastor Matt Hagee. Young Adults are being reached weekly from around the city through small groups, mid-week services and college campus student organizations. 

Michael and his wife, Lucy also founded a School of Ministry called Impact Now.  This school effectively trains and prepares young adults to become Pastors, Missionaries, Youth Pastors and Evangelists. They both are dedicated to creatively preparing students to share the gospel all over the world.

He is a graduate from Southwestern Assemblies of God University, with a B.S. in Church Ministries, which includes a specialization in Pastoral Ministries.  He obtained a Master’s Degree in Biblical Theology from SAGU.  Michael and Lucy are high-school sweethearts and have two adorable daughters, Lauren and Kristin, and a handsome son Josiah.

Abi's charisma and magnetic personality has allowed her to impact many young adults.  She has challenged students with the Message of Hope at various youth conferences, school assemblies, and missions trips with great success. Abi has helped lead ministry teams to places like:South Africa, Haiti, and Mexico.

Abigail serves as our Education Director.  She helps to ensure that every student is learning and growing educationally and spiritually. Abi also oversees the enrollment, records and financial aid protocols. In addition, Abi is also involved in Student Life, by serving as the Women’s Dorm Pastor. 

Abi is a graduate of Impact Now School of Ministry and is continuing her education.

Daniel De Leon// Instructor & Recruiter

Daniel's mission in life is to see people encounter the love of God.  This love is evident in the passion he shares when he preaches.  Consequently, God has open doors for him to preach and teach throughout the nation and to various ethnic groups.  His point-blank, and direct approach to preaching has left his audiences challenged and inspired to know more about the redemptive power of God.  Daniel also possesses a thirst for developing leaders and encouraging churches to grow beyond the normal lines of traditionalism.

Daniel, along with his wife Linda are not only committed to the call of God upon their lives but also to their children, Rebekah, and Daniel.

Daniel is a former student of Latin American Bible Institute and a graduate of Impact Now School of Ministry.  He also served as the Youth Sectional Director in Tyler, TX.  Daniel also served as part of the leadership team of the South Central Hispanic Youth Ministries for several years.  He hopes to one day plant an inner-city multi cultural church.


Eric is passionate about ministry and media. He is determined to connect with people by speaking the language of the culture through vibrant graphics and “creative” videos. His heart for loving and uniting people is reflected in his work. Eric loves to work with youth and young adults and challenges them develop their creative gifts for the Lord.

Eric Valencia is originally from Orange County, CA where he focused on creative marketing for various sales companies. He also a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s in Business Marketing and Management.

AB Rivera// Creative Arts Director

Abimael (AB) is fired-up about ministering to young people through insightful and creative avenues such as eye-catching illustrative messages and drama. He believes that God has equipped this young generation with anointing to spread the Gospel of Hope.  AB's personal motto is that we are never to young to be radically used by God to change the world.  This is evident in his life by his positive and contagious character and love for God.

AB first joined Impact Now as a young 14yr old during a Summer Internship session and experienced a life-changing transformation.  He later decided to return as a student for the 2yr. School of Ministry and graduated.  Afterwards, AB returned home to Yuma, AZ determined to be used by God in whatever facet.  He served as the Youth and Drama Director for his church, and part of the Southwest District Youth Ministry team.

His continual thirst for growth has lead him to continue his studies at Southwestern Assemblies of God University where he hopes to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Theology.

Dominique Infante//
Asst. Educational Director

Dominique has a passion for ministry and for telling people that God is calling them to change this world. She believes that God is calling out a generation that would choose not to walk so blindly along the path of life, but a generation that will rise up and take its stand against the enemy.

Dominique served as a youth leader in Lubbock, TX for eight years. While in Lubbock she had the opportunity to serve as staff for Elevate Worship Internship. There she organized weekly team activities, mentored students, and led morning devotionals.

Dominique first joined Impact Now when she was 15 yrs old. After graduating high school Dominique returned to Impact Now for the 2 yr School of Ministry. She is a graduate from Southwestern Assemblies of God University, with an Associates in Bible and Theology, and is continuing her education in which she hopes to obtain a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology.
